Maybe, this one could lead to a resolution. I have found so many dead discussions on this that have not been helpful. What I need is someone who knows enough to pinpoint this specific issue and will dialogue with me.
Someone that knows what they are doing, rather someone following a step by step troubleshoot list, would be awesome. especially if I could get some better directions than a link back the troubleshoot list or a copy and paste troubleshoot list. On Mac it seems to be related to the Keychain.Īny suggestions as to best "next steps" would be warmly appreciated.

I know this has been an issue with Mac users, but I haven't any good fixes for PC users. Confirms that this is not a "User" problem with me trying to use the wrong password.Ģ) From my laptop, I can log into the internet version of iCloud just fine - via both Chrome and Firefox.ģ) I have deactivated my firewall and virus software, and it still will not connect to the serverĤ) I've made sure Windows is fully up-to-date, with complete shutdown/restart of the laptop to ensure nothings half-installed.ĥ) I'd love to try and reinstall the older versions - b/c these issues were not present then, but I haven't been able to find anyway to do this.Ħ) I have gone down the rabbit hole in the trouble shoot discussions about windows proxies and ports on my router, there are not any problem here that I can discoverħ) It seems to be specifically connected to the "Server ID" address. Additionally, the diagnostics from iTunes show no network errors whatsoever ( diagnostic included below).ġ) I can log in fine via my iPhone & iPad.

I have downloaded every driver update and software update I can think of. I have the latest iTunes and iCloud programs (I have reinstalled them each half a dozen times, down to removing every shred of data left behind and starting from scratch). In Windows 10, iCloud and iTunes always return a login error message: THERE WAS A PROBLEM CONNECTING WITH THE APPLE ID SERVER (2 months or so)
